Its all endemic of exclusivity. These people refused to become part of our American experiment and perpetuated the stereotypes of their "race". Amish, illegal aliens and some pockets of Chinese immigrants do the same. Segregation, forced or otherwise, goes against what makes America. ..America. plus hiring dirty shitbird lawyers is a problem
that is a part of the american experiment, moran. ever been to a chinatown or little italy? what makes america unique is that minority populations aren't forced to assimilate or gtfo. you want to live in a cloistered community of like-minded or culturally/ethnically similar people? knock yourself out, just don't infringe on anyone's rights. it's easy to force everyone to blend together and fit into a few popular categories. that's every country ever. it's a lot more difficult to create a national ethos that respects the infinitely-varied affinities, cultures, religions, etc and creates an environment where any of these groups can feel comfortable to assimilate or not assimilate as they desire

the only people perpetuating stereotypes are bigots who stereotype. the actions of a couple thousand "asians" in an american chinatown aren't applicable to the billion "asians" worldwide, etc. the fact that some black dude steals your stereo isn't perpetuating a stereotype. you're perpetuating the stereotype by viewing him as a black dude instead of a guy who stole your stereo
