Yet the master got a majority of the wealth they created. They still had to perform backbreaking labor. NFL players create all the value, create all the wealth, they are the product. They are the ones that get traumatic head injuries that will drastically shorten their life. The league simply does not exist without them. Yet they get less than half what the ownership gets.
They're slaves. Lobster-eating slaves, but still slaves.

Except they aren't forced to play, got full rides to college, negotiate their own contracts, love playing the game, get paid lots of money and are idolized by millions. Yeah, I see the comparison.
