I meant Lt. Barclay. Also there's zero evidence even suggesting that "God" was a Cytherian, in fact the extended continuity shows it as a being from another universe brought to our galaxy by the Guardian of Forever when Q got bored and asked the Guardian to show him something he hadn't seen before.
Lastly, just because they projected a floating head to the bridge during initial communication doesn't mean their species are a bunch of floating giant heads.
