Ah okay then, so, the emancipation of slaves wasn't actually a thing then? Women's suffrage? Gay rights and all-inclusive marriage? Secular society and freedom of religion? The downfall of theocratic dictatorship on a global scale? Anti-apartheid movement? African-American president?
