I pay close to 60% in my income to some sort of tax, be it MD (hugely liberal) state tax, baltimore city tax, property tax, federal income tax, property tax, different licensing fees that are just taxs disguised as fees. What do I get in return for this? Some roads that were paved a couple of decades ago? A police force that doesn't do shit to stop rampant theft where I live?
