I was in a group and some guy kept saying to the group that Rogues backstab best from the back. I was like what the heck does he keep going on about? I don't think we even had a Rogue.

The next day he had some giant post about people not playing their Mages right and blah blah etc etc. So I figure that whatever pet I was using was a Rogue equivalent. I don't recall now what it was.

So I guess instead of constant /pet attack and medding/nuking he wanted me to run my pet around to the back of the Mob every fight and send it in. I thought to myself well screw that if I am going to do that I'll just play a Rogue! And then I deleted my Mage.

Since then I have been watching how all the other Mages are playing. Every single one is doing what I did. Are they all crappy Mages? According to him I guess. Maybe I should just stay away from the Mage class cuz I don't wanna be a sucky one.

But part of me wants to say "up yours buddy I'll play how I want", make a new Mage and do my thing. As long as I don't get anyone killed or waste too much of the groups time. /shrug

I dunno. I am torn.
