I got my car 1 year old because BMW switched from the v6 to the turbo 4 cylinder in 2012. HP and shit was about the same but the acceleration felt so much smoother on the v6, it was like you had to mash the accelerator a little bit to get the turbo to kick in. Plus the handling was stiffer and more responsive on the 2011 - I talked to the GM of the dealership about it and he was tellin me how BMW as going after Lexus buyers who like the looser/less force required steering in the japanese luxury sedans.

Lots of reasons to buy a non latest model car I guess is what I'm sayin.
Bought it new for 65k. I don't like driving used cars. Will drive this cayenne until a new model comes out and trade it in. It's still worth high 30s.
