Islam and Christianity were in a near constant state of conflict for over a thousand years, and for almost all of it, Islam had the upper hand. Had the Spanish, Austrians, and Poland-Lithuanians not driven back the Ottomans and Umayyads, our ancestors would have been conquered and converted. Muslims really fucked us over for

Since then, we've fucked over some muslim countries and befriended others. What you'll find in common between those two groups of countries is crazy fucking muslims doing crazy fucking things. No other religion has such a strong legacy of aggressive conquest, sectarian violence, intolerance, and general narrowmindedness. Christianity does come close in a few areas
