Along with the OP's gripe, another thing I find highly annoying is when you find enough members for a well balanced group. You all proceed to the dungeon. After a few awesome pulls when the exp starts to flow something happens and there is a wipe. Suddenly people start to leave after they get their corpse. Even knowing darn well that a few mins pulling will erase the exp loss of the wipe. Gating happens leaving just a couple groupers standing alone in a re-popped dungeon with nothing to do but gate out themselves.
