what threads are those? "now we need this" or "Now we need that" etc? thats been going on for years.

what r99 truly needs is a halfway decent community that can police itself, as opposed to encouraging each other into griefing and scumbaggery. the biggest problem with red is that its like blue but 10x smaller. but at the root, its the same problem; you have casuals versus hardcores.

the hardcores want a more hardcore game, the casuals want a more casual game. they separate by play style into opposing guilds.

but it doesn't matter, most redpals are too dumb to even notice the pros and cons of going back and getting that new player over and over, just because hes an easier kill than the people that have been there 2+ yrs and it helps make their epeen feel big and important.
Thanks for responding. I agree the community is the biggest factor. However, that is also the hardest thing to influence. One of the ideas is variance... Once in.. it is ZERO maintenance. I guess nobody understands why it's so hard to just try it for a few months and see if it get's better. In all reality the server will HAVE to switch to variance at some point. On live we are already supposed to be in Plane of Time. Here is the thing. If the majority is in favor of it would the staff even consider just trying it.. you know. for science "D
