If you are unhappy with the current system I encourage you to propose something that takes 0 dev effort to maintain and little to implement in the first place.
I'm sure they have to do a lot of baby sitting with the blue raid scene and they won't make the mistake of committing to something time consuming on red.

I am not a fan of either.. I just think there should be SOME kind of change.. The community can decide which... personally I lean towards variance... The issue is whether or not any kind of change is needed.
