I enjoy the camaraderie and watching new people get excited over loot. It's like what is said about fishing: it's not really the fish you're after. If you didn't take shit so ridiculously serious in this game maybe you could see the forest through the trees.
I don't understand why people like watching soccer, but tons of people love watching it. I also don't feel the need to project my own beliefs on to anyone and consider them wrong if they don't agree with me.
