To me the fun in EQ is -

1) character progression

2) PvP

3) Raiding if there is pvp contesting - the race of a raid behind you, or going heads up

It is clear after 3 years on the box that people will continue to show up for raids that are horrible (VP, Cazic, Inny etc) even though they are static, it's still boring as fuck and fairly time consuming.

I have been in Nihi and seen how they operate, and what the raids consist of and what the role is of most people (auto attack)

What I am wondering is why/how do people have fun doing this, and will this stop in end game Velious - or will it just be forever people grinding boring content with all the neckbeards in one guild?

Do people get that much of a rush keeping this box boring/low population? Is it because Velious is coming out and this is really just another blue box that wants to compete in a PVE race?

I can't imagine a normal human being still showing up to this garbage years after, with BIS toon(s) - is this real life.
Oh kinda like you did when joined nihilum for three months?
