-Extremely grindy and very unforgiving
-If starting for the first time, you can't really solo at all past level 10(depending on class)
Among countless other things that if you're not familiar with this type of game, it will be really hard to condition yourself to even enjoy it when you've developed a wow-tier MMO frame of mind.
I think this server is more of a "play here because this is what you used to love and want to re-live" instead of "play here for a new experience" because honestly, 9/10 a new player who's only known WoWish type of MMOs probably won't last long, and I could care less.

There was a large portion of people in that thread making fun of the WoW kids because EQ was harder and saying that they wished they could experience it again.
Those were the people I was trying to recruit.

I want to destroy this server. I won't rest until every zone is instanced and every mob drops defiant. The streets will run Red and Black with Prismatic Armor Dye. There will be a new Norrath order and its capitol will be PoK. The Bazaar will take back it's rightful throne as the last /auc cries out, "Not classic!" I will not get lost in my path toward this destiny, for the way is made clear with Backspace.
