Eh.....
Uthgaard was paranoid and delusional, and was CONVINCED up and down that Xzerion was somehow helping IB cheat with his *extremely limited* dev powers - so much so that he basically fabricated evidence to match his delusions.
This led to him taking out his frustrations on the rest of IB - so while you're right, that he seemingly wasn't working "for" TMO or anyone else, he was absolutely working against IB. He deleted petitions we put in and then banned the people who made them from the forums, banned people in game for things that were hilariously easy to prove false, and constantly contradicted himself in really clear rulings until he completely melted down publicly.
It wasn't an IB vs TMO thing, it was 70 people in a guild suffering the fallout of a psychotic trying to punish a single person for something they didn't do in the first place.
Every GM has made decisions that puzzle different parties from time to time, but Sirken and Uthgaard don't even merit a comparison.
