Sort of.
The part that isn't working as intended is the fact that shamans start at Apprehensively. Every class should be defaulted to apprehensively upon character creation, EXCEPT Shamans. They should default to Indifferently, allowing you to do these parts of the quest.
A few people have randomly posted evidence but there is no specific thread about this issue. Get a few quotes from 2000-2001 about starting at indifferent and you should be gold and they can patch it so that all shamans begin at indifferent.
