My entire point (which spawned this whole tangent) was that soccer has very little physical contact and yet the players writhe around on the ground as if they were getting MMA-style kicks to the face all game. The sport actively encourages acting like a little bitch and anyone who watched even 1 world cup match this year knows it. I saw grown ass men pretend to be tripped (zero contact whatsoever) and then proceed to hold their leg as if they had been clipped by a stray bullet, and then 30 seconds later sprinting around as if they were perfectly fine. It's shameful that a sport would continue to encourage this kind of behavior.
Okay, I'll repeat myself again. I am well aware physical contact has nothing to do with what makes a sport. That's exactly what I am saying. Yet then you will say "Physical contact has nothing to do with how good a sport is" and then go on and say soccer has very little physical contact. I'm very confused, what are you trying to say here?
