The server is not greedy, at all. Everyone here that disagree's with NBG all have fair balanced ways, for everyone to get the loot instead of just one person. There is not a single thing greedy about the comments on this thread.
You're seriously going to call a warrior greedy - because he wants to sell an item that's worth 100k? pffffft get outa here.
IMO greed before need. Its not greed, its just fair. need before greed is stupid, who gives a shit, just play the game and when you get lucky u get lucky. We're all here on one big nerd fantasy quest so lets play it together and help everyone out - not just the person who thinks that its not greedy if it serves their purposes.
You're either going to get lucky being one of the 6 classes that can need the item, and everyone secretly will be grinding thier teeth at you irl.. or you can get lucky and be one of the 6 that win a roll and everyone will be like totally stoked for you when its an item you can use!
EQ has an economy that works, so its fair for everyone to want to play the game and work for thier gear.
When something of high value drops, whether it can be equppied by 1 person or not, it is of high value to everyone. There isn't just one single class in EQ that has high value items for sale in EC, all of them do.
Play a bard and you'll get shit you want as a drop like 1% of the time - yet still get like all the cash to get all the gears, that's fair. You should know, if you're going to be leveling a shaman to 60 - you should start saving for that spell at 40. If you didnt, well congrats! you're level 60! Now enjoy the world and start getting sweet loot and fucking around int he tunnel selling shit or amasing DKP to get one with a guild you've helped loot 30+ people up over the last month.
When you want that sick level 60 loot - work for it, help people, struggle, play the game and get it 1 month from now, 2 months from now.
But, then again to each thier own, some people are like stoked that they can say i got topr when i was 1 blue into 60 on my first toon cus lol!
who gives a shit, there are people who have bronze armor out there that love this game, just enjoy it and work at it and start helping other people and yadayadayada you'll get there.
