This is kind of a stupid argument to have.
1. Marijuana is not anywhere near as harmful to your body as alcohol or cigarettes.
2. Marijuana has no real legitimate reason to be illegal. Was made illegal for a few factors. One of them being racism. Marijuana was known to be used by jazz musicians who were primarily black. The government did not want any kind of black movement becoming main stream culture.
Another reason it is illegal is that the alcohol and tabaco companies are the main financial contributers behind most anti-marijuana adds. NO shit alcohol companies don't want to compete with weed.
Another reason it is illegal is that multiple Politicians have used it to make advance their careers.
There are other reasons too that i wont go into, but do some research it may open your eyes.
There is no real viable reason why marijuana should be illegal, when we have alcohol which in my opinion has much worse affects on the people's actions, and on the human body. Whether or not you use marijuana, you can't deny that there is no legitimate reason why it is illegal. Like somebody posted earlier if we legalized it and taxed the shit out of it, it would make us money. Not only would the we get money from the taxes, but we would save on police, on fighting the drug cartels, and on prison.
