When I briefly played WoW I played a rogue and jesus did I end up regretting that. So boring. I remember the shamany dudes in the guild seemed pretty cool and I wished I had been one of them. Kinda don't want to play Hunter because a) there were like 8 hunters for everyone else and b) there was that op dps item from Gruul called Dragonspine Trophy or something that I really wanted for my rogue, but it was ultra rare and some hunter beat me by 1 on the roll for the only one that ever dropped for us and never logged in again. Fuck that guy.

i would suggest warlock, as they are consistently powerful throughout the whole progression and have some really handy utility.

I don't remember Warlocks ever doing shit besides tanking that one boss in the Shissar ripoff dungeon. It's like they had to flag one boss "must be tanked by a Warlock" just so you would remember the class existed. I actually forgot until they were mentioned.
In retrospect, they should have made Xerkizh the Creator only tankable by Druids. Dropped the ball, Sony.
