Netherlands playing some decent football in this WC, albeit their defense seems kinda iffy sometimes. They get paired with Mexico too, which has played solidly so far and it looks like a promising match.
Brazil will get carried by the refs when needed (even if they don't play very well). Germany will likely find its way through (plus they have arguably the best goalkeeper in the world right now), along with France - They both have the easiest pairing in the Final 16 from what it looks right now, though I think they will end up playing against each in the Final 8.
Costa Rica winning the Cinderella award so far with some solid performances, hope they can keep it up and go as deep as they can.

Goal average per match is quite high for a competition like that, and that's the best feature although most of the non South American teams have to face the rough weather conditions - playing matches at 1 pm in such humidity and heat is quite unforgiving.
