Look, I'm super tired of the revisionist history by people who joined well after Uthgaard had a history of losing his mind. You never had a problem with him because you weren't raiding the first time he was so far out of line that he got his GM card revoked to cool down for a while, and you may barely have been raiding by the time he completely imploded.
Uthgaard is a sociopath, plain and simple. It's his way or the highway, and he will self destruct hoping to take with him anyone who disagrees. This is a guy who banned a member of TR who was in juggs because, he claimed, he conspired in our private ventrillo with someone else to train a group at King. Re-read that sentence. It *should* sound insane to a rational person. When we appealed the ban?
HE BANNED THE PERSON APPEALING FROM THE FORUMS for bumping his own petition thread. There were pages of logs that lined up to the second showing the banned was no where near the train. There was a mountain of evidence against the ban and Uthgaard's crazy theories were the only thing supporting outright banning someone.
Move forward a couple months and weeks of petitions go unviewed / unanswered. Taken and TMA steal a triggered mob, everything is documented in screenshots and logs, Taken admits it was wrong, and Uthgaard claims there is nothing to prove a rule was broken. We submit fraps after fraps of Zeelot trying to feed trak lifetaps on multiple Trakanons he didn't have FTE on and screw with our tank aggro. Uthgaards response? WAY too busy and too hard to prove!
What does he have time for?
He had time to have the person who bought tweeky go through our private board pulling out of context quotes to try and create the story that Xzerion was abusing his developer powers to create a private VP server for us to practice on using the dev server. At first glance, it seems like a real serious accusation until you realize that in the posts on our boards where we discuss doing it, it's outlined that we don't know the pathing. Wait, isn't pathing the thing Xzerion did in VP? Why would we not have that? Maybe because it was another complete fabrication.
He did have time to go through all the developer logs for months and pull out the pieces where Xzerion was testing raid mobs. Guess what? That's his job. He wasn't testing abilities and he didn't have database access. He was testing faction hits and drop tables that seemed wrong based on his experiences from raiding with us, and he found bugs, which were documented in the hidden developer section of the forums. This is why nilbog cleared him, because he was *doing his job*. Which scenario makes logical sense? That a developer who doesn't have database access is testing drop tables that seem wrong the only way he knows how, by killing and respawning the mob over and over, or that he was trying to glean more information about a mob his guild was already killing regularly?
People seem to be forgetting that in this very thread he claimed that he didn't provide epic items and it was immediately proved he did. Then he claimed eashan was the only person to ever have a 2boxing ban reversed, something that was incredibly wrong and took rogean minutes to shoot down that not only was it not true, but Uthgaard knew it wasn't true. His cycle of fabricate story, get away with it or get proved wrong and deflect with new made up story went on for over a year until he couldn't take it anymore. Now he's realizing he has nothing left and comes back to troll the bugs forum and RNF, dredging up things that were long ago proved nonsensical.
Uthgaard did a lot of great dev work back in the day, and he was absolutely ruthless with people who broke the rules, but over time he stopped worrying about the actual rules and just enforcing his personal vendettas. Take what nilbog said to heart - he has way more information than anyone else in this thread. If you're really siding with uthgaard after reading this, you can't possibly be FOR the health of the server. And if you're not, why are you here?
