Keep in mind that this is Classic EQ and not World of Warcraft. It is harder to exp in this game. Some classes are group based, some are solo. Druids can solo perfectly fine at higher levels than your at now, but until you reach those levels, you are stuck in a group.

I would say that this isnt entirely true. I soloed my druid very successfully. Get on the boat to freeport and hunt Ro! You wont level fast by soloing so just forget about that exp bar and have fun. When you hear that DING! you will get a smile on your face. Just play and have fun.
