Right, you can have alot of wis gear and a large mana pool, but you still med at the same rate as everyone else, so assuming you have enough mana to kill something, it doesn't matter (soloing anyway).
Grouping it plays a bigger roll if you have to heal on an overpull or something, bur otherwise just learn to play with what you have.
Bad thing about P99 is the farming. On live in '99 you could just group at a mob to get an item you needed for an upgrade. These days you are more likely going to be forced to buy it from a farmer.
