This wasn't a Class C mob where you can train the other guy and say "oh well you can take since we ruined your day" There is more then 2 guilds that were competing in this instance. A week should be your punishment not 1 mob for you to sell MQ's from the loot of.

The ultimate punishment is solely in the hands of the staff. Our suppositions that we've resolved the matter are based off of historical precedent.
Consider the facts: BDA's tracker was trained "accidentally," and only while he was being CR'd with the assistance of TMO did VS spawn. Had VS not spawned and TMO CR'd him, any harm done would have been ameliorated and the tracker would be in the exact same position he was before the train. However, VS did spawn, and TMO conceded. BDA took the kill and ended up in the same best case position they could have been in had TMO never showed up. Any damage caused was fully mitigated. If someone punches you in the arm, you don't get to sue him because he "could have" broken your arm; you take him for the damages he actually caused.
The only open left is whether or not the train was intentional. Given that the trainer was helping CR, I think it's more likely than not that he's innocent of malicious conduct.
Any comparisons with Azure Guard's situations are tenuous at best; however, I do feel that AG's punishment, while understandable, was far too strict given the overall sentiment of support throughout Class R.
