You are right the guy who had half his body blown off going through rehab everyday earned his the same as you earned the right to mangle your body because of a dysmorphic image. All I know is as a tax payer I foot the bill. I have no issue paying for a Vets service related injuries but you are just playing the system and fucking over deserving people.

Like I said, we all earned what we have. I'm not eating up $200,000 in treatment for what I earned. I'm using up what I put into the system when I served. That guy (or gal for that matter) is getting what they earned as well and a much bigger portion of the chunk. If you read in the newspaper about the mismanagement in the VA system it's not about cases like mine. Go read the articles about Albuquerque, NM. The small hospital there was understaffed. Not because of people like me but because the system wasn't well planned and the staff there didn't appropriate the resources they need.
But if you don't think I earned to pay out of pocket 15$ a month for hormones, and get a 200$ blood test every 6 months after serving for 4 years honorably making under 20,000 a year net.

It's considered a job benefit. And if they had payed me 50,000 a year to do what I was doing when I served then I would be better off now and able to afford this on my own perhaps.
But they don't. They save money by communally creating this. And they do a good job with it. VA care is pretty good despite the bad press like I said. If anything the money the military saved for when I served, probably went to pay for 10 of those horrible traumatic cases. Because I was a good soldier. I did a damn fine job. I worked along side civilians who made 3 digits for nothing. I did their job for them. They came to me for help. If it weren't for a bunch of ungrateful assholes like you, there'd be more excellent upstanding people still pouring their life and souls into this country and military.
But no one wants to look after an asshole like you. I highly recommend you get off your high horse and go fucking serve. If you did already. I'm sorry you didn't learn anything from it.
