This is going to sound like a flame, but I'm honestly concerned here. I've had friends who were drug addicts, family who were drug addicts, I know how this shit goes, and honestly dude, the fact that you told us you were going to be off the box for a year because you're in rehab getting treated and fixing your shit, and were back within literally a week doing the same thing on here as you always did, does not bode well. It's not that it's somehow important that you don't do "other shit" that you used to do at the height of your addiction- that's not as big a deal as people make it out to be. But the lack of follow-through, even for a little thing like saying you'll be off the box and then IMMEDIATELY getting back on it, is really a bad sign. Really. That's what people are getting at here; it's not that you shouldn't be allowed to hang on the internet while you're in rehab. It's that if you can't commit to something as simple as not being on the box, how are you going to tackle addiction?
Addiction is the process of your brain tricking itself into doing shit that it knows is harmful but that it's chemically wired to want to do anyway. Denial, rationalization, self-delusion, talking yourself into and out of things, these are your biggest enemies as an addict and you've got to be aware of this if you want to get better.
I really do hope this works out for you and I really am rooting for you.
