That zone is so good, and most people I meet there are so chill. Bandit sashes after gnoll fangs is a great way to be independent till your nearly 20!
I did bb alone as a noob to p99 and the server, one dude was definitely taking more that his fair share of gnolls so I /told him and he said this and I shit you not, 'sorry friend was helping me and I had buffs and was being greedy, want to group still? I'm sorry

So whoah! Yea! If you see someone high level killing things and your low, or a nub then just ask them about it, chances are there's a human playing that character and they're gona be cool!
BB sucked to level in live, there was always 2 people for every 1 gnoll in that zone, so if it's a ghost town as in nothing to kill, awesome! Shits classic!

I would rather go to a zone and have every npc killed by other players than go to one and have everything up, because that's what live is now, overcrowding, permacamping, ugh, that's Eq and why I love p99!
Also yes 200 ish fangs plus the xp from gnolls = 7-15 for my bard.
