If you're looking for something "far more reasonable":

Halfling Rangers/Paladins, Gnome Shadowknights, etc.

Since their sole purpose would be amusing people until kunark was released, it would give a couple extra bored people a new class/race combo or two to play around with.

But once again, it's not classic, and certainly not worth the dev's time at this point.

The only purpose adding beastlords would have is to take some of the "lolyourclasssux0r" heat off of rangers.
