Both parties need to be dismantled and done away with permanently for any sort of progress to be made in this country. Voting for the lesser of two evils is exactly why this country is on a downward spiral over the last three decades, fuck that.


Abstaining, imo, is better than choosing the lesser of two evils. Atleast then you can say you had no part in the tyranny.

You have to do something or you are just as responsible. The only way abstaining would help is if everyone else were on board. It is a voluntary system that people have been conditioned to rely on.

Dismantling the parties is a start but the parties exist because of an obvious polarization in political thought. All that will be left is a power vaccuum and rinse and repeat. The elite know this which is why they coopt movements like the tea party and occupy (/eye roll) so they can manage opposition.
