PvE servers being more popular across most games proves this wrong. Few people want to play a game where someone has a chance to be oppressed, blocked out or grieved. I think there is only one pvp server still active on live while the rest were shut down/merged. Even in WoW one side becomes super dominant and players on the losing/less populated side leave server for something more balanced or fun, even if the servers in question are pve or pvp.
Even... even if... even if Teams99 came out next week and Red server players were merged I can guarantee you that one race/alignment/whatever it is will become dominant and everyone will either move to Blue99 or move to whatever side was dominant. I wish I was more knowledgeable about these forums so I can link a picture of Father Elijah from New Vegas and tell you all to learn to let go.
