Nixon was nowhere near as bad as the Clinton or Carter crooks. He was a pretty swell guy overall in comparison.

nixon's egregious (non archaic) ethical violation was what led to carter, clinton, reagan, bush 1, bush 2, and obama to be crooks. the inherent distrust and disengagement of the american people of and from the government has enabled that. we focus on the president more when congress is the body of gov that has to do the work to make the laws etc. while the president is the figure head, now anyway, and the supreme court broadens interpretations of words based upon shady rhetoric that enables the buying and selling of the government more than ever. shit's crazy now.
