This. Let people who want to PvP and watch their backs and always play with full resists / buffs up and always have pumice bagged copy over and play on red.
Let those who want to PvE player on blue.
It gets more people interested in red since they don't have to restart if they are established on blue. And it increases the amount of actual PvP that would happen.
Sounds like a great idea to me.
