Unfortunately, there aren't any places to quad kite at 53 besides raptors at the moment. In velious however there are wyverns/othmir in Cobalt Scar that are great for quadding to lvl 60. Charming is more risky, but deffinetly the fastest way for a druid to level solo.
Many times when I was leveling my druid up I would resort to the much safer/steady root/dot method.
