I've yet to have a genuinely bad experience. I've had anxious trips and negative vibes but they ended up being breakthrough experiences for me. I use to have really bad problems with stage fright and social anxiety prior to my experiences with LSD.
I'm not sure how to explain exactly what changed - but something did.
But when I did acid, I used the time to reflect. I would usually spend the time alone writing or analyzing my thoughts. It was more therapeutic than recreational. All of my psychedelic experiences have been.
It's been about four years though since I last dealt with Lucy. I miss it dearly.

It can remove feelings of fear or inadequacy allowing you to give yourself an honest self reflection. The ego often gets in the way of self improvement. For a few hours lsd makes it very easy to seperate the ego . Constructive use of such time can result in positive life changes. Excessively putting yourself in this frame of mind is not healthy psychologically long term as it can blur ones own identity . That's an obvious point trippers forget or fail to acknowledge
