heh. Trying not to sound negative here, but we have killed Venril more than a dozen times. His "good loot" rate seems to me about a 14% drop - no lie. Most of the time we get 2 staves - and recently, with the addition of quest items to his table, we got 1 stave, 1 legs, and 1 quest staff.

5) I have to compete with another class to get a stone off of Venril Sathir, who, until they changed his spawn time (and how the stones are dropped), was killed on my server (Povar) while I am at work, because that's when the server comes up after being patched.

Is the stone dropped by Venril every time? Also, is it no-drop?

I was thinking that if an uber-group were camping him for all the cool armor and such, it might be possible to ask to be able to loot the stone off of him if it were dropped everytime. Granted, all the druids in that group would have first dibs, but if the stone is no-drop, then eventually all of the druids would have one and no more would be needed [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Just a thought.

Kill Venril Sathir in Karnor's Castle and be lucky to loot the rare gem he drops. Venril is a very tough Necromancer that can only be beaten by very strong guilds.
