I have a warrior named kainarus, shaman named volcanon and a cleric named morgrul. Starting out has been pretty rough with absolutely nothing for twinking. But this is how I remembered playing the game in 99... so its fun to get even the smallest trinket. Someone who mentioned having people need to be level 25.... heh man you're skipping a ton of newbies that way. Without twinking, i've got level 4 warrior level 7 shaman and level 10 cleric. Theres no way i'd get anywhere near 25 before this guy gave his stuff out.
A guy named callabee? (I think, sorry could be wrong) just gave out lots of plat the other day in EC to newbies who showed up by assigning them numbers and randoming. It worked out pretty well (even though I got disconnected and 1018'd for 20 min and missed it!) Maybe you could do something similar by taking each item and assigning numbers to only characters that can USE the item. (and they can't be level 1 freshly made by some max level jerk) maybe level 4+ only. Someone would surely slip through the cracks but it would probably be a better chance to go to an honest newbie like myself that would love you forever for even the smallest of trinkets.
