I rolled a cleric on this server a couple of nights ago. I am no-name player on Blue from 2010 with 2 characters in the 50's.
I don't really belong here in this post because I have no first-hand knowledge about the stuff you're arguing.
But, what I can say is this:
1. To level a HLF CLR from 1 to 11 took 11 /played hours of entirely solo play with a few buff injections totaling about 2 hours of "buffed" play time. So, about 1 hour per level 1-11.
2. Today, I had a wonderful interaction with two players from <Uprising> where they donated some buffs and some equipment out of kindness.
First, in my opinion, unless the XP curve takes a steep, unforeseen increase, I don't see a huge problem with XP.
Second, the server is not entirely the toilet you are describing. There are douchebags in every population. I'd like to believe for every douchebag there is a kind soul.
I look forward to seeing how I can progress on Red.
