This isn't about victimhood, it's about the commons.
Is the entire server victimized by RMT? In some small way, probably -- but not any more so than every single person is victimized by a billion minor external factors that make some aspect of their life sub-optimal.
But what we've got here is a genuine commons. It's open to all, and maintained by server staff. We all benefit from the upkeep of the commons. When you RMT, you shit in the commons. When enough people shit in the commons, we all feel the effects. None of us are personally victimized by any one RMTer, but the cumulative effects impact the server's functionality and legitimacy.
So what someone like Nordenwatch does is make extensive, humiliating, life-ruining use of the commons, then when he's decided he's extracted maximum utility from someone else's sandbox, he cashes out and leaves the sandbox a little worse for the people that remain.
Also, you would be much, much better off working a job at McDonald's in terms of cash-out. Rags to riches guide to burger-flipping coming up next.
