heartbrand has this idea that he can do no wrong and people will follow him in blind faith. You have to realize old comrade that it was your decisions as a guild leader that led to the demise of your guild. I'll give you a few pointers so if you decide to make red dawn 3.0 you will have a better chance at survival.
-trying to evade pvp 90-95% of the time is going to make you lose members
-trying to be a snake allying temporarily with 1 faction to zerg another faction for pixel self gain will make you lose members.
-twisting words to make lite or anybody look bad because you have a personal quarrel prob wont make you lose any members but will reflect negatively on your image as leader.
having access to azrael forums and red dawn forums i had the opportunity to see some serious word twisting by topjew and i could understand to a degree since he was a guild leader and had an image to uphold but at the same time made me sick to my stomach.
I've been in just about every guild on the box and azrael for roughly 2 weeks now and I'll say there aren't any toxic people in this guild.
Don't listen to hearsay to determine how you feel about another person or player. So many people say Lite is toxic etc but since ive been in azrael I see nothing of the sort. People like tibberz do not belong in Nihilum and I bet they would have so much fun in azrael and should really give it a chance.
The past two weeks in azrael has gotten me as close as possible to the feeling I felt playing on this box the first month it was released. All you vets know what feeling im talking about, the first 4 weeks of p99 red was when it was really alive. back in the 600 pop, It will never be what it was, but with this crew I'm having about as much fun as I did that first month of the server

Red Dawn was actually doing fine until the XP nerf. That - and only that - killed it. RD didn't evade much PvP at all.. We lost a lot of times as undergeared patchwork/bronze wearing sub 55's tho. The political game HB was trying to play was pretty smart given what he had to work with.
RD COULD have eventually been a factor. Then the XP nerf hit and people didn't want to spend most of the next 3-4 months getting 55-60 and being griefed all the way through. RD couldn't compete with either Nihilum or Azrael toe-to-toe. So people stopped logging in. Leveling groups vanished.
In any case RD is dead. It's simply AZ and Nihi now...and will be for a long time unless one of those two implode. But here's a clue. Nihi doesn't mind a bit not having competition. AZ on the other hand would go full range lunatic if there wasn't anybody to PVP. Nihi also goes full range lunatic when they consistently lose. With RD gone I'd say the power shift goes to AZ.
So. Nihi will fold because they're going to constantly get their ass kicked by AZ. AZ will then quit because there will be no one to PvP. Nihi will come back because AZ quit. AZ will come back because Nihi quit.
Rinse and repeat.
