transfers is a bad idea. copies is even worse. red isnt some battleground server meant to just log in with a copied toon to mess around on. its a separate server and playstyle completely. a bigger population would be nice but not at the expense of the integrity of being a classic eq pvp box. if you want to play on red then you gotta do the time. it isnt even that bad with xp bonus.

That's the problem. people don't want to do the time (again) after already doing it on blue. The PVP aspect is appealing to many people, but not appealing enough to grind 60 levels starting with nothing while being griefed by twinks.
I agree /copy isn't the way to go.. but how would /transfer harm the server's integrity? Would you rather run around having people to kill/group with or run around with "integrity" intact and 20 other people to play with on the server?
