the second and selected option has caused more negativity and player exodus
in concert with the exp nerf and how it was initially handled. I get that devs can't tell everyone, everything, at all times. I do. But this has been a disaster which has cut the population by 50%. So perhaps staff (Not Sirken, Deru, or Zade.. but he who shall not be named.) should consider perhaps publication of development plans earlier than initially planned as a result rather than simply "
Staying the course".

Don't worry about dedicated neckbeards, they're not going anywhere, but lets assume a good 50 of the 100+ people who recently quit were new or returning players, many of them are gone for good with more leaving frequently, a little good news on behalf of the development team would at least apply pressure to the hemorrhaging of the exact type of people we need to attract and retain.
