I tried Necromancer (good old Jurassic!) as well. I think most people don't really play them to their potential, but in the end I think they are just weaker enchanters. Heals and FD don't make up for tash, stun, ae mez, and slow in my opinion. That being said, they are definitely a fun class. If taps could land on bosses . . . .

We have pseudo malo (with no MR resist mod on it), pseudo tash, pseudo undead charm. We do get snare (with a dot so you can't mez it), lifetaps, FD, DA, mana twitches, etc. Its just that to do good dps and CC we need to use the enchanter tricks which enchanter has us beat on every angle.
