Yeah, I didn't look up his name but I found him confirming it as well.

Yeah he tries to pull it off as some noble gesture about hygeine in magic tournaments but he was doing it for a laugh. He only tried to pull the "public service" spin after he got in trouble for it.

Again, I don't play magic anymore and the stereo type of smelly magic nerds can be true I think the DCI should be more active in making sure that the smelly badly dressed kids are not allowed to participate in tournaments.
