Hit the nail on the head. I would PvP with Red Dawn, but I would be mindful with the fights I pick as to not hurt the already fragile server population.
Would I wipe out a level 30-40 group trying to exp in SolB with my 60? Nah.
Would I wipe out a level 60 in range PLing a group of noobs? Probably not.
Would I fight a 60 in a PvE camp that I myself am after? Yes, most certainly.
PvP needs an objective, whether it is the thrill of an even fight, or to get pixels. The whole mentality of being a pro pvper by catching someone exping with a 1 shot wonder class (Rogue/SK) or running around with a gank crew, is really a pathetic notion and serves no purpose. Players that did that back in the day would have been challenged by the server population and were hunted down by friends/guilds of the players being ganked, as well as other players in the zone who are exping. Unfortunately this server is not classic and we need to be a better community to keep people playing. |

Nihilum understands PvP. Azrael griefs and calls it PvP...and they truly don't understand why it hurts the box, or that there's even a difference. They never will, either. But...that's their game. They don't realize that come Velious they will be totally insignificant unless they change. What they do is OK through Kunark...but Velious will curb stomp them.
