We have collected conclusive proof that you have tried to sell your game character or virtual items outside of the game environment.
Such real world trading is devastating to the balance of RuneScape and is against our rules. Any adventurer that continues to break our rules does not belong in our community.
All of your game characters are now blacklisted for RWT and will be permanently monitored for real world trading. Despite of who you are or for how long you've been playing RuneScape, if you continue to real money trade we will have no hesitation in: (1) indisputably banning your account from our community in order to protect other players, and (2) naming you as a defendant in a lawsuit (Jagex LTD against you), which will be a legal action based on DMCA law violations that is at this moment imminent in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Illinois (Legal Proceeding Case SANC-V13-01572-CKJ-jAcf12UQ).
If you ignore this e-mail and instead continue real world trading, we (Jagex Limited) reserve our rights to prosecute statutory damages against you for between $200 to $2,500 per act of past, present, and/or future real world trading in compliance with 17 U.S.C. 1402(a)(1).
On top of that, we have for the time being altered your game account's standing.
