Follow the logic thus far?

You are demanding that the players recognize that this player was banned and that we must confirm before we can associate with this character again...just to be more cautious?

So this was a coding error not a "GM error" there was some inherit code in Everquest that allowed a player to log into his otherwise banned account?

Are you sure you know what an exploit is as it relates to this topic?

With this kind of logic anything can be unwritten and immediately enforceable without regard to integrity or notification. And did Nizzar not infact report this as soon as he thought it seemed weird that so many people were unbanned that were previously banned?

I know you can fall back on the "we dont talk about other peoples petitions".

So because they logged into an account and moved items from that unbanned account to legit characters they thought was sanctioned this parallels to duping plat (ergo exploit).

What people dont get is your ignorance of basic doctrine of fairness. If the accounts were suppose to be banned and were "mistakenly" unbanned then reban them. Allow for a amnesty period for people to return items that were not suppose to be moved from the banned accounts.

People really do not care THAT much about these items that they want their accounts perma-banned because of a "gm mistake".

Horrible analogy.

Using your example and putting into perspective the analogy would have to be something like...

1 police station released 15 prisoners from jail. They was not given a reason or explanation they just knew they could leave. So they left. During this time they went to a grocery store and bought food, some went home and slept, some went and got laid (jail cornhole is not satisfying). The next day it is on the news that 15 prisoners escaped from jail and that they are wanted by law enforcement.

Before any prisoners can turn themselves in they are all shot and killed on sight. Family that allowed them to stay overnight where also arrested and put into jail. The grocery clerk that sold them food also jailed for aiding escaped convicts. Their girlfriends and wives also jailed....

All because police made a mistake and allowed the prisoners to leave?

You think that would hold up in a court of law or even pass a logical truth test?

Who knows why. The window of time that it was noticed and corrected was very small. Perhaps they just didnt have time to do it.

Welcome to a 5 man box!
shut the fuck up dude
