Heartbrand has created a very friendly and equal guild for all walks of life on the server. It really rustles my jimmies to see Azrael totally undermine his efforts and break off at the most opportune moment. All while stealing and poaching members to help fill in their voids. I understand that it is a very intelligent move for ensuring their own success and ability to compete, but it really has no redeeming character to it.
You guys want to be this strong resistance and fight Nihilum but you just split the resistance into 2. I don’t really understand. Is it you do not like being under command of Heartbrand? Or is Lite really that amazing of a leader? Things could have been discussed in order to maintain our strong resistance and integrity. Now all is lost and if Azrael does not succeed, even more bridges have been burnt between the limited resistance members that have not already joined Nihilum.

The truth is the majority of azrael virtually quit around the time Red Dawn was picking up steam. Lite was playing casually at best and anyone that was left over was forced to either join RD or nihilum if they wanted any part of Red99 end game. Azrael's stance was that without variance or simulated patch days there was no point in trying to fight the massive numbers nihilum had on repop day. From there the 10-15 actives that were left began raiding and pvping with red dawn, which most of us enjoyed. Personally I found the DKP system well done and the guild well organized. Regardless of this, many if not all of these azrael's (who were now rolling with RD) still were holding out for an azrael researgeance, be it, in velious or simulated repops. The mentality of azrael players has always been to keep a tight knit crew of skilled pvpers to contest where possible. None of us hate HB, or anyone in Red Dawn for that matter. The reason for us leaving has absolutely nothing to do with nihilum or Red dawn. Azrael as a guild enjoy fighting with smaller numbers, we love the fact that there are 3 active guilds, we love the fact that there is more pvp now than ever. For anyone in RD that feels sleighted by this, dont be, we have nothing against the guild, we just prefer a smaller guild. For many of us, raiding with 40+, especially in kunark is not our idea of a good time. To ad to the 10-15 that left RD, about 25 more came back since simulated repops were added. Azrael was never "poaching" members, the azrael you see now have all either been in azrael at one point or they came on their own accord. Personally, I'd rather get no dragons than have nihilum let me have dragons. Thats not a shot at RD leadership, just the way I feel. Anyone that left RD, probably felt the same.
