Have had this happen several times. Its a little odd, and very annoying.
When i go unconcious and then get back up - my mouse counter stays invisible.
I can type, and the mouse can also be moved around and used. (evident by the fact that i can highlight buttons etc with it) - i can't see the actualy mouse arrow though.
It happens every single time i go unconcious and usually forces a relog, i have one one instance stayed on, and after a good while it came back to visible. This also happens to me every time I get purple'd. I just click both left and right at the same time and it usually fixes. never had to log out from this before though. Though i cant imagine you haven't tried this... but thought Id throw it out there in case.
