Got my ogre sham to about lvl 7 last night. Been busy lately so only casual play has been allowed lately. Either way, I'm loving the class but heard that my friend who's in the military has a higher lvl shaman (mid 30s iirc). Currently he's on deployment and I haven't heard from him really in a while and I'm not sure when he will return, but would probably love to play with me when he does come back.
Question: should I continue with my sham here or play a different class? I really want to be a class that is need/fun to play in raids, is good at solo (i.e. when my friend is gone), and is also desired in groups. That's why I felt shaman would be perfect, also because I want that epic!

Well you picked correctly then. Gearing and spells are expensive at higher level - beware
